From my Retreat in Daily Life....

Center fo Ignatian Spirituality....

Father, You know me better than I could ever know myself....

You know.... what I have been... what I am... what I will be...

You love me more than I will ever know.

You don't hold it against me that I fail, or am discouraged... You try also to show me that I should not hold it against myself...

You are forgiving and loving... it is beyond my understanding...

But Father, if I do try to escape You, really, where can I go?

God my Father, You know my thoughts.

Guide me to You.

You know what I desire.

Eventhough I do not always move toward my goal.

Grace for my mission...

Give me the grace, O my Father, to persevere in the work to which You have called me, neither leaving it half-done nor giving up when the first enthusiasm has faded and other interests attract.

Kinds of Love

There are many kinds of love as many kinds of light. And every kind of love makes a glory in the night. There is love that stirs the heart, and love that gives it rest. But the love that leads life upward is the noblest and the best. -- Henry Van Dyke.
